Principal's Welcome
Welcome to St. Thomas More Catholic School in San Francisco. Our school was founded in 1954 and we are proud of the amazing and loving community that continues to this day. While joyful learning and wellness are at our core, our caring community helps students develop to their full potential: mentally, physically, and spiritually. We embrace traditions from our past and prepare our students to serve as leaders for the future. All are welcome here and we are proud of St. Thomas More graduates who have moved on to attend the finest high schools throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
St. Thomas More Catholic School provides instruction for preschool, transitional kindergarten (TK), and kindergarten through 8th grade. Located in San Francisco's southwest corner near the gateway to the Peninsula, St. Thomas More is a supportive and richly diverse community committed to academic excellence that inspires spiritual, intellectual, and social growth. We prepare our community of students to become citizens committed to service and stewardship. Our school is proud to be fully accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
In addition to offering a strong academic curriculum and robust sports programming, we are extremely excited to provide performing arts opportunities where all students have access to acting, singing, and dancing taught by seasoned educators. Performing arts experiences such as these allow students to practice public speaking and presentation skills in a safe and supportive environment - all while building community and making lasting memories.
