Both Bring your own iPad (BYOi) and rented iPads will follow the same guidelines:

- The device must have a built-in camera and should not contain personal email, photos, or apps (games, social media, etc.).
- iPads will occasionally be audited by the school to ensure compliance with school policies.
- The school will install management software to help monitor and provide technical support for student iPads.

Student Responsibilities |
The 1:1 iPad program enhances our students' learning experience. Both BYOD student-owned and school-owned iPads will only be used exclusively as educational tools for academic activities and work. Students are to treat school property with respect and care. This is to ensure that the devices function most effectively and reliably (battery life, storage capacity, virus-free). iPads must be fully charged and brought to school each school day once the program begins.
Students are to be aware that the 1:1 iPad program is a privilege and any violations as written in the electronics agreement and/or rules stated in the Parent Student Handbook will result in the loss of privilege. It will then be the student's responsibility to make up any assignments, tasks, or requirements in and out of school. Students will ensure that iPads have a sturdy case that protects and covers both the front and back of the device. Students are responsible for repairing any damage to iPads. The principal and/or technology coordinator reserves the right to assess a fee equal to the cost of the device if a school-owned iPad is damaged. School-owned iPads must be checked back into school during summer breaks and potentially any other extended school holidays for maintenance and care. *The principal reserves the right to make changes to the 1:1 iPad program policies and fees. |
