Extended Care Program
Morning Care |
St. Thomas More School offers Morning Care from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. each school morning. Morning Care is held in the first-grade classroom under the supervision of a staff member. Students may read a book, do some schoolwork or any other quiet activity. Students attending morning care will receive a snack (fruit, granola-type bar, or dry cereal) and drink and may bring an additional small snack if they wish. At 8:00 a.m., they will be escorted to their homerooms.

Afternoon Care |
The Afternoon Extended Care runs from dismissal until 6 pm from Monday through Friday. It is a drop-in programs. Students must sign up in advance and complete the agreement and forms below before they may start afternoon extended care.
Students will be checked in and given a quick snack and then go out to play (weather depending). At approximately 4:00 PM, the students come back into Carroll Hall for a quiet study/homework period that may include arts & crafts or group activities for kindergarten and our other youngest students. Computer activities and indoor table games are available for those who finish their schoolwork. In addition, a movie may be played starting around 5:00 PM. Parents, or a previously authorized person, must sign every child out of the program each day. Refer to the Afternoon Extended Care Service Agreement for more information and billing.
