"Not just about a building
but about the transformed lives
of the children who come through it"
Our Campaign - More Than Bricks
We thank you for participating in this important undertaking, and respectfully ask you to stretch in your support, to the extent possible, at this crucial time in our school's history.
It is with great joy and excitement that we present our Capital Campaign, More than Bricks - Paving Paths to Excellence through Faith. Through this campaign, we are raising funds to undertake a series of improvement projects that will make our campus a safer, more accessible place for generations to come. The information below outlines our plan and goals. We pray and hope that you will join us in this exciting and essential endeavor of paving paths to excellence through faith.
Since the construction of our original campus in 1954, building codes and safety standards have changed. The City of San Francisco recently required an evaluation of all private schools to ensure every school in the city is in compliance with stringent modern building codes.
Based on these results, we recognized that we needed to strengthen our school building through a seismic retrofitting project. In consultation with the Building Department of the Archdiocese of San Francisco, we are in the process of developing a comprehensive plan to undertake the planning and construction of this project. These improvements will make St. Thomas More one of the safest schools in the City. ContributeGifts to the campaign are tax-deductible as a charitable contribution to the full extent of the law. The chart below outlines some suggested giving plans.
All families are asked to consider making a pledge over two years and all gifts may be remitted monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. You can contribute via credit card, FACTS, cash or check.
