Dear First Grade Parents,

On Friday October 31st, the first grade class will be celebrating Halloween. Students should wear their Halloween costumes to school that day. Costumes should be appropriate for wearing all day. Costumes should allow for easy bathroom accessibility and shoes should have non skid soles. Students may wear a moderate amount of face make up, applied at home. No weapons of any kind are allowed. Students can also bring masks to wear for the Halloween parade. Students do need to bring a snack that day.

The Halloween parade will start at 10:45 a.m. in the school yard. Right after the parade our class will be having a Halloween party in the classroom. You are welcome to join us for our party. However, due to the size of our class, we cannot accommodate younger siblings or strollers. Our party will end between 12 noon and 12:15 p.m.. At that time, parents will need to leave the classroom and wait for their child, as usual until dismissal at 12:30. Please remember that Friday the 31st is a half day. After school extended care will be available as usual.
