Dear Parents,
As Halloween approaches so does the big decision about costumes. I encourage the eighth graders to wear costumes because it gives them the opportunity to share in the fun with the rest of the student body.

A few rules of thumb are:
1. Make sure your child’s costume is comfortable. It has to be worn all day.
2. The costume should be such that your child can use the bathroom easily.
3. Makeup should be used sparingly. It must be applied at home.
4. A costume with weapons is not considered appropriate for a school parade.

The school’s Halloween parade will begin at 10:45 A.M. on Friday, October 31st. We will have a class party for the students immediately following the parade. The students will organize the party themselves.
