Applications may be picked up in person or downloaded and printed from the STM website. They will be available online and from the school office beginning Monday, November 7, 2011. The completed application and the $45 (non-refundable) application fee are required before applications can be considered.
Open House
Come visit St. Thomas More School during National Catholic Schools Week between January 30, 2012 to February 5, 2012. No appointments are necessary during Open House.

2012-2013 STM Application (K-8)
Applicants for grades 1-8 must also provide the most recent report card and test scores. Catholic students entering 1st grade must present an original copy of their baptismal certificate. All applicants in grades 1-8 will be tested for grade suitability.
There is no specific deadline. When a class is full and we do not expect to accept
any more students, we will accept applications only for the waiting list. Depending on
the circumstances, kindergarten applications received after mid-February, will likely
be placed on the waiting list.
Acceptance Criteria – all grades

•Children currently attending Utopia, our preschool, as well as those who have siblings already in the school, will be given preference for enrollment.

•Catholic applicants will be given preference over non-Catholics.

•Families with more than one child applying to the school often receive special consideration.

•All applicants must be proficient in English in order to be considered for enrollment.
Other criteria we look at in considering applications are a family’s connection with
the school, the time and talents they are willing to share with the school community
as well as their participation as an active member of the St. Thomas More Church
community or their local church community. The completeness of the application and
the timeliness of its submission is also a consideration in all grades.
How much is tuition and how is it paid?
The 2011-2012 year’s annual tuition is $5,300 for one child, $10,200 for two children and $3,800 for each additional child. Tuition rates are increased slightly every year. Families may choose from several different tuition payment plans including the single payment plan, the monthly payment plan or another of our many payment choices. AM Extended Care
Morning care is available before school beginning at 7:00 a.m. Interested families
must enroll their children in AM extended care for the full school year. There is a
single annual fee of $350 for this service. Once enrolled the family may use the
program as frequently as they wish.
PM Extended Care
This service is provided from dismissal time each day until 6:00 p.m. This is a drop in
program. It may be used whenever a family chooses to do so. There is an hourly
charge of $4 for this service. Parents whose children use the service are billed at
the end of each month.
